OptConnect agrees pan-American mobile IoT tie-up with Chile-based M2M DataGlobal


US-based IoT connectivity supplier OptConnect has acquired Chilean agency M2M DataGlobal for an undisclosed price. The deal means OptConnect will handle mobile IoT throughout North and South America. The M2M DataGlobal model will likely be retained in Latin America, together with its headquarters in Santiago, Chile, and proceed to be managed by Elionae Silva as normal supervisor.
